Dave Hughes reveals Lindsay Lohan ‘annoyed’ other judges on The Masked Singer

Dave Hughes has claimed that Lindsay Lohan annoyed other panellists during her time working on The Masked Singer Australia.

The radio hot was reminiscing on his time co-hosting the now-axed Channel 10 series with the beloved Hollywood star on Thursday morning’s 2DAY FM’s Hughesy, Ed & Erin.

He told his co-stars that Lohan would often rub some of their other co-stars the wrong way because she’d take so long away from her seat on the panel.

Hughesy said the actress would often turn a 20 minute break in filming into a three hour break, leaving the rest of the cast to twiddle their thumbs.

“There’s a moment when the head comes off and whoever’s under the head has to get makeup done,” said Hughes.

“So then you have a little break. But Lindsay often would make that break go for two to three hours because we couldn’t get her out of her trailer … what’s Lindsay doing in the trailer?!”

“I enjoyed Lindsay,” he continued. “But she annoyed some of the other judges, I think it’s fair to say.”

It comes after Lohan faced some wild claims from Hollywood legend Bette Midler, who revealed she once considered suing the star.

The pair hadshort-lived sitcom called Bette, which aired for just one season from 2000 to 2001 on CBS, but was cancelled due to increasingly poor ratings.

According to Midler, Lohan refused to come back after the first episode aired on TV.

“[She] decided she didn’t want to do it, or she had other fish to fry,” Midler recalled on an episode of David Duchovny’s Fail Better podcast. “So Lindsay Lohan left the building and I said: ‘Well, now what do you do?’ And the studio didn’t help me. It was extremely chaotic.”

She continued: “If I had been in my right mind, or if I had known that my part of my duties were to stand up and say, “This absolutely will not do, I’m going to sue,’ then I would have done that.”

“But I seem to have been cosseted in some way that I couldn’t get to the writer’s room. I couldn’t speak to the showrunner. I couldn’t make myself clear,’ she added.
