If one of these Astro BotIts biggest strength is that it feels packed, developer Team Asobi has already confirmed that free DLC is on the way, and fans have just been treated to the first trailer for it.
Shown during Sony's latest State of Play, Astro BotThe free DLC will go to the game this fall, although the exact date has not yet been confirmed. Thankfully, the Asobi team has been a bit more forthcoming with the DLC content, with a recent trailer showing off everything fans can expect to see.

Five new online Speedrun levels
The real meat and potatoes Astro BotIn the upcoming free DLC, players will have access to five new stages, but not all of them are the same. Astro Botthe main game. These five new stages are all high-speed levels that encourage players to reach the finish line as quickly as possible.
Based on the trailer, it looks like the player's speed will determine if they rescue two of the platform's Bots. Throughout the level, the player will be accompanied by blue and red birds. If the birds reach the end of the stage before the player, they will apparently ignite a firework attached to the Bot, sending that character into deep space and preventing the player from rescuing him. To save the two Bots, the player needs to complete the stage before the two birds do.
Astro BotThe DLC trailer appears to have teased four of the five stages of the new speedrun. Fans can expect to see a cool scene where they can use the elephant backpack that can shoot platforms, a construction scene set in the clouds where players use the dog backpack that goes on rockets, a scene where players explore a bunch of -water. ruins with frog gloves, and a trap-filled scene that sees the player climb up with monkey gloves.

10 new bots to save
Astro BotThe free DLC will come with 10 new Bots to rescue, presumably divided into two per speedrun stage. The two Bots confirmed during the trailer are Stellar Blade's Eve and a famous Super Earth veteran from Helldivers 2. The unlockable items associated with these characters also appear to be confirmed, with Eve having a vending machine that hints at Stellar Bladecollectable punches that increase the player's record, and the Helldiver comes with a Super Earth flag that indicates Helldivers 2the box art.
The identities of the other 8 unlockable Bots have yet to be confirmed, although it looks like they will also be cameo characters. Although many fans are still hoping to find out Final Fantasy font in Astro Bot – none of which appear in the base game – it seems more likely that the game's end credits have already spoiled what's to come.
