Fan-favorite companions return from the age of dragons: The Veilguard
In the main story, Dragon Age: Veilguard players will find Isabela and Dorian. They look a little different, given the ten-year jump between Inquisition and Veilguard, but we can see that they're both still knocking.
In fact, if you choose the Lord of Fortune line, Isabela will be your faction contact, so your Rook will have known her before the story started. Our favorite pirate queen has certainly been keeping herself busy between games.
Then, there are the returning players that we already know. Varric and Solas are the most obvious ones, as they are visible from the beginning of the game. There's also the Inquisitor, a returning player who can create just like he did in the last game and include his choices. And of course, as revealed in one of the trailers, Morrigan is back, with a bit of a costume change.
It's amazing that we have as many returning players as we do, if it is very difficult to implement them in a way that respects the game we did in the previous game. This is because, for the first time in the series, The Veilguard did not order the kingdom of the world, but asked for three decisions made in the Inquisition. This means we can't say anything about the Wardens and Hawkes, making it difficult to review who might have other roles.
