How to start a fortune in the pursuit of Wuthering wave paintings
To start the Treasures in the painting quest, the player must go to the Resonance Beacon located outside the city of Egla in Whisperwind Haven. Then, go up the stairs on the east side of the lighthouse until you reach the last step. Nearby, players will find a grassy area with NPCs Claudia is painting on a canvas on the edge of a cliff. Make sure it is set between the game clocks 6:00 am and 5:00 pm (06:00–17:00), as Claudia leaves the area at night.
Talk to Claudia to start the hidden side quest. During the conversation, Claudia says that the player reminds her of her Sentinel and will give her one of his paintings. After the dialogue, the quest will be renewed, assigning players to find the real-world location that inspired Claudia's painting.
How to fill the treasure in the Wuthering Wave painting quest
The scene of Claudia's painting is a tower to the south, seen from the cliff. The tower is located on a small island in Thorncrown Rises, within the Thessaleo Fells. Players can use the Echo Challenge: Flight II teleport point to easily reach the top of the tower. Alternatively, the Command Rise teleport point — unlocked after completing the Shadow of the Towers quest — can be used to access the tower's base.
From the top, players can jump down a section of the tower to reach a marked location. Starting from the bottom, players can use the Flight tool, introduced in Version 2.0, to climb the tower. Once at the marked location, stand on it to reveal a standard supply crate. Open the chest to complete the Treasure in the Painting and get the achievement Lost Glory.
