However, this does not stop him from continuing his path of vengeance and gathering an army as the Dunlending people ascend to the position of High Lord, and there are familiar faces in his army as well.

Wulf is difficult. He starts out moderate and measured, able to build an army effectively and win battles against the likes of Helm Hammerhand. However, he becomes unruly as the film progresses, perhaps out of frustration with the siege his army is locked in, or perhaps because he is preoccupied with Hera in particular, a path fraught with danger for him.

Héra takes charge of Hornberg after her father disappears. He fights Wulf one by one, constantly opposing him, and is a big part of his frustration at making the mistakes that lead to the destruction of his army. Héra is a popular Middle Earth character and immediately cemented her place in the franchise's history with this feature, whether or not she appears again.
