Laing Figures are the first monsters players will encounter in the game. They are like a straight coat covered with flesh, like a wild animal, that likes to roam the streets or crawl on the ground like snakes.

Their form is also very fast and makes a monster in the game if the player is not paying attention. The worst part of them is the acidic liquid. It's hard to get rid of all the mosquitoes when fighting with weapons Silent Hill 2 such as planks or pipes.

6 Spider Mannequins

A new threat from above

There is a new enemy there Silent Hill 2 which has no official name. They look like mannequins because they are nothing but legs sewn onto their bodies. However, the dimensions are not the same as the legs and these nightmares can climb, so the Spider Mannequins are at least suitable for the nickname.

They will appear in the Toluca prison which is already a scary place because the lights are low, giving these creatures the perfect camouflage as they jump on the walls and ceilings. They are difficult to spot and hit with guns, making them a less intimidating enemy.

5 Abstract Dada

Abstract Dad is one of them Silent Hill 2 there are few bosses. It seems that two people were arguing and then got stuck in the same door. Waiting for the players at the bottom of the Toluca prison area is this giant wonder that represents Angela's childhood trauma about her father.

It's slow but it can explode through walls like the Kool-Aid Man but it's not as attractive because Abstract Dad doesn't have a cool drink. Smashing through a wall without a summons is scary enough, but the design is just as scary.

Flesh Lip is another boss there Silent Hill 2 where the power is not so scary but the design is nightmare fuel. The body of this thing is wrapped in a metal cage and only the moth is exposed at the bottom.

This means that the mouth is in a private area and that's just not pleasant to think about. The flesh lips will hide in the ceiling and then explode on unsuspecting players below. A tough boss fight that gets harder as the cages loosen and grow limbs like metal spiders. This situation is not good to enter because the room is also small.

3 MANDARINS

Three lips are better than one

Mandarins are the hardest enemy to take down in the game but that doesn't necessarily mean they are the scariest. Players will encounter them for the first time in the Labyrinth and may not even know they are there. Many of the Labyrinth's floors are made of metal mesh and bugs are everywhere, helping to hide their presence.

Mandarins hide under nets, climb like monkeys. Their head is a large mouth and each arm has a large mouth attached to the end. Mandarins make Flesh Lip look shy in comparison and they are difficult to kill due to their ability to ride and their whip-like tongue.

2 Mannequins

The mannequin is near the top because it ignores the usual warnings. The radio won't explode, but there will be a slight interruption with flicker, so the player won't be completely lost if they listen.

The mannequin remains like a statue until the player gets close and then attacks like a beast. Their pacing is unnatural with their animations sometimes resembling stop motion. They rank right up there with the scariest video game monsters of all time.

1 Pyramid head

The most recognizable character in the series

Pyramid Head is the poster child for silent Hill series and not only Silent Hill 2. He looks the most human of the game's monsters but still exudes an unnatural health. There's the giant triangular metal hat he wears on his head along with his giant sword. The first time the player meets him is in the hallway of the Wood Side Apartments.

He just stands there looking at James through the iron bars. Surprisingly, James doesn't say anything but it's a problem for the whole trip. Regardless, Pyramid Head is an iconic monster and boss that stands out even among playable characters in terms of recognition.
