The Post-Credit Scene In Venom: The Last Dance, Explained

It doesn't seem like a long time ago, but we're finally here. That was the end of Tommy Hardy poison movie and for many, it's a sad time to see how a couple goes. While the movie wasn't particularly memorable, it was a better attempt at live-action Venom than we've gotten before. Sorry Topher Grace, you are bad.

But for Tom's “last play” the audience seemed unhappy. Overall, we have a Google Audience rating of four out of five from 2836 reviews. 40 percent on Rotten Tomatoes from 183 reviews, six out of ten from 30 reviews thousand on IMDB, and a score of 41 out of 46 reviews from Metacritic. So it doesn't work well. But we'll take a look at the ending to show how this chaotic mess of aliens fit in with the ending of Venom: The Last Dance.

Note: Venom: The Last Dance was made on a budget of 120 million, but returned 317 million. Despite the box office success, the review score does not paint a good picture. Plus, we don't know how much it cost to sell.

Venom: The End of the Last Dance, Explained

In this regard, We have three films now and from the outside if you don't watch the movie you'd think that having “The Last Dance” in the title would seem like the very last. From symbiotes the Imperium Project and Xenophages follow toxins for their Codex. While the war continues the Xenophages slowly kill all the Symbiotes each because they are more aggressive and durable than them. In addition, they have two powerful abilities in the form of an organic blender for mouthand very fast updates.

The Codex is a microscopic device created when the symbiote and life force mix when a host is resurrected by its symbiote. Knull needs it to get out of prisonand this is the 'Magical MacGuffin' for the film.

When the Symbiotes are destroyed, it ends up with Eddie and Venom hiding in a crashed helicopter. Everyone has a few touching moments together before he goes and attracts the Xenophage that gather around him.

The creature comes close and suddenly The poison hits its tentacles. Grabbing them and slowly absorbing him into a black gelatinous mass above Eddie. The two then went to an industrial bath labeled “Hyper Acidic”.

However, Eddie is released by Venom in the last few steps. Brock just sat there as Venom sacrificed himself to destroy the Codex that the Xenophages were hunting.

Venom, with help from Rex Strickland, acid bath as he and the Xenophages fade into nothingness. Strickland then pops a grenade of his own series-on-top sacrifice and the whole area explodes violently. Eddie survived it all lying under a large iron door This covers it in a blur as the Hyper Acid and fire bathes the entire area.

The Codex is destroyed with Venom, and we see it Knull in his prison outside our galaxy would be fine because he was sealed again. Then we jump around a bit after the big explosion scene we saw Eddie lay unconscious with a broken legfound Brock awake in a hospital bed. It was there that a military officer said that Venoms was gone.

Eddies file has also been removed the services for the country but both sides gave the threat from outside. especially wiping the slate clean and allowing Brock to start fresh and regain the life he lost at the start of the franchise.

Then we are presented with the experiment of photo of Eddie and Venom with emotions throughout the film before we cut the credits. If you've seen all the movies by now, including The Last Dance, this scene doesn't really hit home.

Already beat Venom's death at least once in every movie and at that moment you are just sitting there waiting for the announcement that he is fine. Of course they do once in a while post-credit scene after the final tease of another movie.

So the band will tear quickly, no Venom is undead. Even though he seems far gone in the end, he lives again. In addition, there is a few clues in the last part of the movie it really confirms that we are getting another movie.

For example, there is still Agony walking around. He is a purple symbiote released by Doctor Payne and has super speed on the level of The Flash. There are also Venom's last words to Eddie: “Just Say Goodbye”. It means he will come back.

Finally, in the post-credits scene we see A black cockroach left Area 51 in ruins. That's the last trick for the audience that Venom is still alive and kicking. Which you might think is not that complicated, but it is there another post-credits scene before it We see a threatening Knull coming to Earth soon.

We can see it too concept art of Venom having fun with various animalsmay return to Eddie in the future for another film. So they seem to be trying to build a great, but unsatisfactory, Thanos-style game in the future.

It could be a great battle between Knull, Venom, Agony, and any other Symbiote they decide to include. It might be true to the comics. Or, there may be additional unknown Symbiote survivors from the complete killing by Xenophages when they attacked area 55.

With the success of the film at the box office, despite the average scorethe smart money is on them making one last run. They saw it good financial decisionsso we haven't finished the Deadly Defender yet.

There's also been a void of competent or entertaining superhero movies lately. In the world of Post-Marvel burnout, the Venom movie is in the perfect spot to try and come out on top.
