Time takes place in episode 75 of Pokemon Horizons, with the title translated as “The entrusted future, the brightness of this world”. The episode delves into the history of the Explorers and highlights Liko's impressive Pokemon captures, but the Poke Ball is of particular interest. This is the Poke Ball that Gibeon uses to place his special white Zygarde.

Will this mysterious Poke Ball be a big deal?

Fans are interested in the shape of the Poke Ball, which has an almost steampunk look. The standard round button of the ball has been replaced by a tool, with white and brown colors with green and red. When shown in the Pokemon Horizons episode, the Poke Ball already contains Zygarde, so it is not yet clear if there is a specific purpose to the Poke Ball or if it is just a cosmetic difference.

Pokemon Fans are already speculating as to what this new Poke Ball's purpose might be, and if it will even matter in the end. Many took the opportunity to bring back the forgotten GS Ball from the golden and silver eras of the era Pokemon anime. The GS ball was originally meant to hold Celebi which would be the main point, but the idea was scrapped and Celebi was moved to the fourth row. Pokemon movies instead. As a result, GS Ball was left silent and the plot was written in a nonsensical way, but of course not all Pokemon fans forgot about it as the show creators hoped.

At the time this episode aired in Japan, the English broadcast of the Pokemon Horizons up to 45 episodes only. Fans shouldn't expect to see a translated version of this episode for a long time. Perhaps, by then the purpose of this Poke Ball would have been revealed. Pokefans will have to wait and see.
