The new era of A man it didn't go as well as fans hoped. We're only a month into the run, and season 3 of the anime is already facing a massive wave of fans and detractors.
Frustration over the graphics and general quality of the season reached a high point, with episode 6, titled “Mottey Heroes”, standing as the worst anime episode of all time on IMDB. The previous record was episode 11 of The promise of nephali Second month, and while the 6th episode initially started with higher averages, they dropped faster.

Episode 6 Originally had a 3.4 rating after being banned. It's not great by any means, but it's less in keeping with the other season 3 episodes. But things started to happen quickly, and the degree decreases to 2.0 and then 1.6 in just a few days. Clearly, fans are not happy with the direction the series is headed. Season 3 was initially controversial
Things weren't pretty for season 3 right off the bat. In September, fans were already up in arms. This led Seascor director Shinpei Nagai to issue a statement saying that season 3 “may not measure up to season 1”, which did not inspire much confidence. A little over a month later, Nagai left social media due to harassment. Nagai and the rest of the staff in charge of season 3 were constantly criticized for their work on the anime. While it's fair to criticize someone's work and voice your disapproval of the way a series is handled, some fans take it too far.
Now, it seems A man Anime is dead in the water. Bandai Namco may see it as a profitable series, but the quality of the product, as well as the reaction of the fans, does not bode well for the franchise moving forward. Whether the series gets a fourth season remains to be seen, but it is difficult to imagine what will happen soon. There was a four-year gap between seasons 1 and 2. It took six years to get season 3, and now, fans have to wait even longer to get anything at all.

While season 1 wasn't well received, season 2 didn't get anything close to what season 3 did.
The fans freely resolved the possibility of the director Shinpei Nagai to lead the new season, despite his work leading the process of Psycho-pass, GANGSTA.and Samurai Flamenco. Critics have been heavily criticized online, and all the talk surrounding the new season seems to be swimming.
Unfortunately, the fans didn't get the results they thought they deserved, and there is obviously something behind the scenes that affects the production. Season 3 of A man It is probably not only the most controversial anime of this 2025 season, but also one of the most polarizing anime of recent years. Hopefully, the series, fans, and everyone who worked hard for the current season can expect better things in the future.
