Shoto Kazama
Set everything to Blocker
With the release of the Digimon Liberator webcomic, fans were introduced to incredible new Digimon (Pteromon and Shoemon), but the protagonist, Shoto Kazama, changed the meta and control into a real threat.
Shoto's effect of giving one of your Digimon blockers is not limited to Liberator-type Digimon, making huge towers like Mother D-Reaper and impenetrable walls that will cover your head with the way you climb. With MedievalGallantmon coming in early 2025, this green tamer will continue his reign in future editions.

TRY hard
Save your data
The Scramble cards found in the Special Limited Set have changed the game for the better. These Option cards gave decks that depended on a single stack to have some kind of recursion engine. You can play rookie for free, with the opportunity to collect the cards you need for the next round.
There are a lot of cards similar to Scrambles, such as Memory Boosts and Training cards, but they have so many tools that it will take a while to find a replacement.

Imperialdramon: Paladin Mode ACE
The best opponent of purple
Most ACE cards are specific to an archetype or Digimon line, but with Imperialdramon having three different colors, this card is one of the top seven ACEs any deck can play.

Digimon Card Game: 10 most valuable cards in the special Booster 2.0 release
The Special Booster 2.0 Release brought many expensive cards to the Digimon Card Game. These are the most expensive.
If you've ever played the Digimon Card game, you'll know the power of the color purple. Often made with powerful draw and discard machines, these decks can quickly reach their win state and decimate your board. With Paladin Mode's effect going to the bottom decks, you'll get those decks back a long way.
6
X Antibody Proto form
Program X will win!
With his release in BT17 Secret Crisis, the fan-favorite purple dog from the Digimon Seekers books is a huge hit. It's fast and can do a one-hit kill, or OTK, as early as the second turn. With more support released after launch, the deck became more consistent, making it one of the top decks of 2024.
The deck doesn't offer much flexibility outside of OTK, and without archetype defense, it can be weak, but with the release of Scramble cards, Fenriloogamon has become one of the best in the game.
5
Ancient Garurumon
Bounce All The Security
The hybrid has been a threat to the game since BT06 Double Diamond. Basically, the Blue Hybrid is so overrated that the Tamer Tommy Himi card had to spend some time on Bandai's banned and banned card list.

Digimon Card Game: 10 Best Cards from EX7 Digimon Liberator
Make the most of this Shoto-centric bag.
With this version of AncientGarurumon, the new version of Blue Hybrid is faster, and with the Ukkomon card, its search and draw engine has unparalleled power. another deck. The best part about this card is that the pool of cards around it is very diverse, making each deck build different from the others.
4
Paildramon
Stingmon and ExVeemon! Jogress!
Imperialdramon spent a short time being one of the best decks in the meta and competitively. It's fast, it's aggressive, and with powerful Tamer cards like Davis and Ken, the deck can out value anyone it faces. Paildramon and his first keyword, Partition, offered a layer of protection in addition to his signature Jamming.
With Paildramon, you can hit the damage hard, while your opponent's board is on cooldown. Along with the set's Imperialdramon, Paildramon is the core of the deck.
3
Ukkomon
The nightmare of many
Love it or hate it, this card is one of the biggest of the year. Releasing Ukkomon left every deck with room for a rookie or two and his play had constant issues. This Ukkomon, along with its promo partners, must be included in the most powerful decks.
Fortunately, the promo version ended up being limited to one copy per deck to avoid many injustices, but we Fenriloogamon players still have the movie antagonist to help with the card search.
2
Apocalypse
Take out your card!
As English gamers, we didn't get to experience the power of Apocalymon when it was released. After a long reign in the Japanese meta, Bandai decided to limit the card to one copy a week after its release in the West.
While some people are upset about the Secret Rare card restriction, the card is really unhealthy for the game, and as a result, it can knock out your opponent without them knowing. You can still play the card, albeit inconsistently, but if you're looking for a subtle way to beat your opponent, Apocalymon is the card you're looking for.
1
Magnamon (X Antibody)
The Great Wall of Gold
The strong wall. The mighty Royal Knight. This Magnamon was the first to be released as a three-color card. This was very problematic because it gave the deck access to different removal and defense cards while it was already a huge wall for players to climb over.
Other card games like Yu-Gi-Oh! have a lot of cards that do not affect the effects of other cards, but in Digimon, this effect is nothing if not Magnamon, changed the world of the game for the rest of the year.
