Ubisoft has been silent on the splinter cell headset since it was revealed four years ago. The only official sign that still exists comes from a slightly more desperate tweet from the studio in May, and radio silence since then. Fans were hoping for an announcement at GamesaCom after Michael Ironside appeared at the airport on his way to Germany, but it didn't soften anything.
Although the welder said that the runimake is very impressive, the game seems to have no meaning. It seems that the game director has left and Ubisoft Toronto is already looking for a new one. The specific job description mentions that they will work in splinter cell teams.
Splinter Cell Cell Remake is looking for a new director
A leaked job listing from Tech4Gamers reveals that Ubisoft Toronto has hired a game director. It is not known if the opening is already complete or if Ubisoft removed the list to avoid a reduction in the development cycle, as in the case of the Persian period: the fake time.
“As the game director of Splinter Cell, you are in charge of the game for a short time. How do you find the invoice? Frequency, to ensure a great game experience, which invites players and knows how to reward.”
Unfortunately, it did not bode well for his review, because the loss of the director of the game in this area can push his release in the long run. Hopefully the project has found a new director, and it won't cause any more delays. It is clear why the studio wants to keep it under wraps, and there are almost no official updates to the game.
