Key Takeaways
- Rotweaver is effective due to its high rate of fire, large clip, and ability to spread Damage with upgrades for powerful combos.
- Based on damage, high rate of fire and complex mechanics, Striga is useful but difficult to master.
Witch fire
. - The hunger effects, unique mechanics with crit hits, and elemental combos make him the best choice for
Witch fire
player.
The hardcore roguelite FPS Witch fire puts players in the role of a witch hunter, or Preyer, taking out powerful witches and their minions. The power of the opposition means that witch hunters require more than cold steel to get the job done. However, when all else fails, the gun is the tool most hunters rely on.
With the additional guns added after the Ghost Galleon update, there is a good range of weapons for the Preyer. Most of the weapons in the game can be made when the player has enough experience with them.

Witchfire: Best class, no
Although they only affect the early game, their introduction makes certain classes better than the rest in Witchfire.
However, since players can equip spells, relics, rings and amulets, there is a powerful synergy that makes certain weapons a better choice than others. These weapons are the best of the Witch fire when used effectively.
10 Rotweaver
Fully automatic pistol
the Rotweaver may have the lowest damage per shot of any weapon Witch firebut with the highest rate of fire and the largest clip, it is more than that. When upgraded to a higher Mysterium level, it is very effective at spreading Damage.
Despite the low damage count, the Rotweaver will quickly deplete the enemy's health bar. Once players start spreading Decay, they can also recover bullets from kills. This makes it great for sustaining damage and creating powerful elemental combos.
9 Striga
Pole pointer
Throwing a pole Striga both powerful and fun to use. Able to send smaller enemies flying, and even pin them to walls. This weapon would be higher on this list if it weren't for its biggest flaw – in the heat of battle, it's hard to use.
If this sounds like a skill, it is. However, due to the shooting mechanics and projectile travel time, the Striga will be a difficult weapon to master, even for players who are used to using marksman rifles and snipers. To balance this, the Striga's damage output is high, and the weapon fires faster than expected, comparable to a bolt-action rifle.
8 hunger
Solid handgun
hunger is a high-impact revolver that is difficult to control but rewarding in its mechanical performance. At higher levels of the Mysterium upgrade, each critical hit before reloading provides a charged bullet in the next magazine that deals more damage.
When guns are upgraded, more crits before reloading means more damage per bullet charged. Hitting all six shots as a critical gives a stronger bonus, making the first shot of the next magazine a guaranteed critical that also slows the enemy down.
Hitting all those critical shots is easier said than done, but for players who want to focus on weak spots and critical damage, Hunger is a must-have weapon.
7 hail
Devastating Sniper Rifle
hail has the highest base damage of any non-demon weapon in the game. Due to its basic mechanics, it also has a low ammo count. With Hailstorm, getting three reviews in a row returns two bullets to the current magazine.
This product evolves with more levels of Mysterium, giving the player improved management and zoom distance, low flinch and light effects of bullets. At maximum boost, the player also generates a cold wave on the third crit. The downside is missing or manually resetting the buff.
This means that hailstorms do damage with consecutive crits, but players will run out of ammo immediately if they miss too many shots. There is also a stamina cost to shooting when aiming. These are the two main reasons why this weapon is not high on the list.
6 voltage
Bloodthirsty Crossbow
voltage was the first demon weapon found there Witch firebefore a recent update added another option. The high damage bolt seeks out additional targets after hitting it, making it a very effective weapon to get out of situations where players find themselves outnumbered.
Using demon ammo means the Vulture can't be used as freely as most main weapons. This is useful as a get-out-of-jail card for unruly mobs, or if players need to stack items on bosses while adding mitigation.
5 Ricochet
Mob Killing Auto Gun
the Ricochet is a machine gun that can mark targets and ricochet bullets between them. With the Mysterium upgrade level, aim for a large number of enemies. All three enemies can be tagged, then hitting one tagged enemy will ricochet off the other two.
The added level of innovation gives the first seed a stun effect, which helps make Ricochet an effective weapon against smaller groups of enemies. Ricochet is a nice and straightforward weapon to use, with a good clip size and less worry about perfect accuracy than other options.
4 Hypnosis
High Skill Cap Gun
Hypnosis is a bolt-action rifle that can cause serious damage in the hands of a sick player. Reducing visibility with Hypnosis charges shots with extra damage, increasing the player's target range.
More damage weight upgrades at the end of the charge, giving perfectly timed shots a massive damage boost. When the weapon is fully upgraded, pulling off consecutive perfect shots also deals additional lightning damage.
That said, having the patience to wait for a shot when under the pressure of an enemy attack is not the easiest strategy to adopt. The increased damage from Hypnosis is worth the effort, though.
3 A falling star
Demonic Grenade Launcher
the A falling star is a newer addition to the witch, and it is powerful. This demon weapon has the highest base damage in the game, and deals explosive damage. As if that wasn't enough, the player can shoot an enemy if they aim the eye and the grenade will go into that enemy.
Like other demon weapons, there is no Mysterium upgrade for the Falling Star. That said, with their level of destructive power, they don't really need them. Another thing to consider is that players can damage themselves with the explosions from the Falling Star, so it's best used from a distance.
2 Hangfire
Explosive hand cannon
the Hangfire Hand cannons are one of the most fun weapons to use Witch fire. With mechanics apparently from Borderlands universe, the Hangfire shoots a projectile that sticks to its target and explodes when it returns to the player.
Higher Mysterium upgrade levels make the weapon shine. The second upgrade level increases the damage for each enemy with a shot stuck in it. The third level makes the enemy Burn burst, which provides great synergy for Burn-focused builds and components.
The use of elemental damage combined with ease of use makes Hangfire a more popular choice than the other hand cannon option, Hunger.
1 Psychopomp
Supreme Shotgun
the Psychopomp Shotguns offer a high-quality, dangerous, close-quarters style of combat that's fun to pull off. Each charged kill restores half of the weapon's magazine, and at the final level of the Mysterium upgrade, kills the player's battle.
This is suitable for the style of playing by getting in the face of the enemy and dealing great damage quickly, without having to stop and reload. Each consecutive hit with this weapon will also deal more damage to the enemy, which means Pyschopomp can help deal with tanky enemies.
Entering enemy positions with the enemy is a big risk Witch firehowever. This means that Psychopomp works best with crowd control spells like Shockwave or Frost Cone. Once players get into the rhythm of using Pyschopomp, the fast and brutal gameplay is a lot of fun.
