The swamp demon is one of the first enemies that Tanjiro has to fight Demon Slayer. This beast kidnaps women to eat, prompting the heroes to try and stop him by any means necessary.

After Tanjiro manages to break a stone in half with the help of two strangers, the protagonist is revealed to be guided by their spirits as they disappear. Both Sabito and Makomo were former students of Sakonji Urokodaki, and lost their lives to a terrible hand demon on Mount Fujikasane.

During the final selection, Tanjiro encounters a hand demon and decides to protect the other aspiring demon slayers and retrieve the souls of Sabito and Makomo. After a hard fight, he finally succeeds in this goal, cuts off the head of the powerful enemy and completes the exam.

Tanjiro, Nezuko, Tamayo, & Yushiro Vs. Susamaru & Yahaba

Susamaru and Yahaba are two elusive demons who force Tanjiro to pull out all the tricks in his arsenal. Susamaru's temari ball hit like a truck, while Yahaba's Demon Art forced the target to move in one direction, making for a difficult team fight.

However, Tanjiro was good at fighting and used the help of his allies to kill his two enemies after the most interesting battle with a demon who was not a member of the Twelve Demon Moon. It was a huge success, but things went from bad to worse for Tanjiro from here on out.

Once a low-ranking member of the Demon Moon, Kyogai was stripped of that honor after Muzan expressed frustration at not being able to use his powers outside of his home. Fortunately, Tanjiro and his friends put up a fight when they stumble upon their home.

The protagonist fights a particularly tough battle as he slowly gets used to Kyogai's drumming powers. Fortunately, he settled into a rhythm and showed impressive movement skills, adjusting his footwork in the spin room and finally closing the distance to cut Kyogai's head.

Tanjiro & The Demon Slayer Corps Vs. Daki & Gyutaro

Arc: Entertainment District

After being inducted into the Demon Slayer Corps, Tanjiro and his friends go on a mission with Sound Hashira to investigate the Entertainment District. Here they show the influence of a Moon Demon who kidnapped Tengen's wife.

When the heroes discover Daki's presence and are about to stop him, his demon brother appears and makes the battle even more difficult than it was at first. After teaming up with Tengen to fight Gyutaro, the confrontation he's in turns out to be brutal. Although things looked dire for Tanjiro, both of them were decapitated at the perfect time, nullifying his threat once and for all.

Tanjiro & The Demon Slayer Corps Vs. Hantengu

Hantengu is one of the most unique enemies out there Demon Slayersave several people who have their own offensive style and are very effective. The Demon Slayer Corps was facing these many people, and Tanjiro was focusing on the cowardly form.

Despite the threat of Nezuko's looming sunlight, Tanjiro makes a brave sacrifice and breaks the original form of the Hantengu to defeat the demon for good. This victory was made even more exciting when Nezuko was able to defy the sun, making an important statement that elicited a strong reaction from Muzan.

Tanjiro & The Demon Slayer Corps Vs. Enmu

Mugen Train is probably one of the best shonen anime arcs of all time, let alone Demon Slayer A fan favorite, Tanjiro teams up with his friends and Flame Hashira to defeat the last moon. Enmu threatens to release the Demon Slayers from their sleep, but the plan fails.

To make matters worse, he became the train the demon slayers were on, forcing Tanjiro and Inosuke to work together as they tried to “break” Enmu by cutting the train's engine. This led to Tanjiro whipping out another Hinokami Kagura technique after succeeding in this goal, but this victory was marred by Akaza's unexpected appearance and killing of Rengoku after a long battle.

Tanjiro & Nezuko Vs. Rui

One of Tanjiro's best feats took place on Mount Nagatumo, where he faced off against a low-ranking Demon Moon who was psychotic to the core. Rui's spider webs supported punches and could have been infused with blood to make them even more deadly.

When Rui pulls this ace card, Tanjiro remembers his father's dance and summons the power of Hinokami Kagura in one of the greatest moments of all time. Episode 19 is a turning point for Demon Slayeras the series gained popularity due to Tanjiro's fight with Rui. Although he failed to kill, Water Hashira came to save the day as the battle ended.
