DUBAI: American singer-songwriter Katy Perry featured an Arab designer this week during the filming of her home video for her single “Lifetimes”.
She wore Glass Dalida PVC mules from Romanian-Jordanian shoe designer Amina Muaddi. The shoes have a clear design, with the entire structure, including the heel and platform, made of transparent material. A wide ass has a heel.
The music sensation paired her heels with a metallic silver mini dress, called Shanghai, from Ibiza-based brand Jennyinibiland. The dress features a halter neck with cut-out detail on the front, enhancing the futuristic feel. The cloth has a reflective surface, like a mirror.
To top it off, she chose the KA YO CHIMI Silvaner Clear sunglasses from Chimi, a Swedish brand known for stylish and innovative eyewear. The glasses boast of clear frames and colorful colors.
Perry will drop the music video on August 9, she wrote on Instagram sharing photos from her shoot.
The singer teased the single last week, posting clips on social media using the song as the soundtrack.
The song “Lifetimes” follows the release of the female-focused single “Woman's World,” the lead single from her upcoming sixth studio album, “143.”
Although he hasn't revealed the album's full tracklist, it's slated for a September 20th release. During a live stream on Instagram and TikTok, he teased a few songs and features, including “I'm His He's Mine” featuring Doechii, “Gimme Gimme” featuring 21 Savage, and “ Nirvana.”
Perry released her latest album, “Smile,” in August 2020, which included “Daisies,” the title track “Smile,” “Never Really Over,” “Harleys in Hawaii” and “Cry About It Later.”
