While the image that pops into your head when you read the word Poke Ball may be the classic red and white version, Pokemon gear has over 30 different designs. You can add something new to the list this weekend with a new face making its debut in the latest installment of Pokemon Horizons. However, no one knows what he does, or what he is called.

But what does it do, and where do we find it?

According to Game Rant, the mysterious new Poke Ball is shown during a flashback with Gibeon using it to store his Zygarde. However, the flashback does not show the Zygarde caught, so it is unknown if it has any special abilities or functions. Some Pokemon fans have pointed out that its design may draw inspiration from Shiny Zygarde which is white with green accents, similar to the upper part of the new Poke Ball.

The first fan theory is the first look at something that will get a full introduction in Pokemon Legends: ZA. Its design is similar to the old version of the classic Poke Ball that you can pick up and use in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, so the futuristic takes on this design for a Legends game that looks more advanced than Pokemon schedule. because of the past it makes a lot of sense.

Pokemon usually introduces a new Poke Ball form with each base game, but that's not a guarantee. Added no new Poke Ball haul tactics in Scarlet & Violet, marking the first time since Gen 6 that no new Poke Ball concepts were introduced in a main series game.
