Developer Niantic announces Pokemon GO's new Hatch Day event for December 2024, adding to the recent New Year event.

Pokemon Go Players should set aside some time for January 11th from 2:00 to 5:00 pm local time to participate in the Mega Gallade Raid Day. Mega Gallade will have a higher chance of appearing in raids during this three-hour window, and players will have a chance to encounter Shiny variants. As always, players will have the chance to earn more Raid Passes than usual, with 5 more Raid Passes from Pokemon Gyms and the Remote Raid limit increased to 20 from January 10th on the 4th: 00 pm PST until January 11th at 7:00 pm PST. This limit can be increased further for players who purchase the tickets for Raid events.
