Earlier this year, Like a Dragon developer Ryu Ga Gotoku delighted Mad Dog of Shimano fans by announcing Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii, a solo adventure for Goro Majima that has a one-eyed devil with amnesia who sails seven ships. sea on a pirate ship. Ryu Ga Gotoku and Sega aren't shy about showing off the game either, and have used today's Xbox Preview Partner event to give gamers a second look at Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii before it's released on February next year. In the trailer
While we've already seen most of the trailer, there was some new footage to check out. For starters, we got to see a little bit of the ship gameplay, which has been a big question about the game since its announcement. In the trailer, we see Majima going to sea and fighting other ships, with a game system that is very reminiscent of Assassin's Creed Black Flag.
A few small story details were also revealed, as it looks like Saejima, Majima's bestie, will be involved in the game's plot. Outside of that, we see more of the game's combat, as Majima battles hordes of enemies on the beach, summoning animals like sharks and giant chimps to fight alongside him. Yes, it's actually a Toy A Dragon game.
It's another big show for Majima and his scurvy crew, and the start of the game won't get here any sooner. If you need a reminder, Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii will launch on February 28 next year, during a month that is already packed with interesting releases. Not only are Avowed, Monster Hunter Wilds, and Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 coming this month, Assassin's Creed Shadows was recently pushed back to February. I hope Majima can make a place for him.
