Outlaws 2 has a cockroach named Wolverine as a very nice joke

Beautiful moths. They're mean, get in the way, and … I don't know. I just don't like them, to be honest. But it's clear that the people at Olomasian have a bigger heart than me, because they just went and put one in the license for the outer world 2.

Yes, there really is. If you look at the credits for The Outer Worlds 2, you'll see that the special thanks section includes a shout-out to the devs' loved ones … and a cockroach named Wolverine. And of course, there is a story behind it.

Wolverine The cockroach can be seen in the credits for The Outer Worlds 2

This story comes courtesy of social media worker, Cindy Herr. Or Obsidian Job, I think. Sorry.

“It's cool that a cockroach we confirmed when we watched X-Men at a bar during PAX West,” said Tran. “I called Wolverine” John “Wolverine” and in the Credits of the Worlds World 2.

I checked and, yes, sure enough, he was there. John Moth (“Wolverine”) is a must see. I'll try to remember this next time I kill one of Wolverine's brothers. I'm sorry, really, Right Don't like them, but maybe this is the wakeup call I need. I wouldn't have been able to kill Wolverine; I wouldn't have it in me.

This is far from just a joke hidden in the outside world. As I wrote before, the game has a reference to Skyrim's ability to ska on people if you put a bucket on their head. This is through a helmet in the hood that you can see in the island of paradise, which gives you a lot of courage, but also blocks most of your vision. Now you know how non-poor merchants feel when you rob them blind.
