MHA Characters Who Won The Most Fights

Summary

  • Todoroki won 17 fights due to his powerful quirk and growth at U.A. High, making him an efficient hero.
  • Bakugo claimed 20 victories with his intelligence and Explosion quirk, excelling in battles against friends and foes.
  • Midoriya emerged victorious in 21 battles, utilizing One for All to defeat dangerous villains alongside assistance from allies.

My Hero Academia is one of the most famous action shōnen manga/anime in the entire world, so it should be no surprise that it is filled to the brim with many exciting fight scenes. As a result of the action-packed nature of this series, both its Pro Heroes and its villains have starred in numerous different battles, especially against each other.

Transformation Quirks are unique abilities that let the user mutate their body. These are the strongest Transformation Quirks in My Hero Academia.

Naturally, this also means that some of the most powerful and prominent characters in this story – like Deku, Bakugo, All Might, and more – have not only participated in countless fights, but they have also emerged victorious from most of them. Many My Hero Academia characters have won most of their battles, but the following have the most impressive win-loss records in the entire series.

8

Iwao Oguro (Knuckleduster)

9 Fights Won

  • Debut: Chapter 1 (Vigilantes Manga) Episode 1 (Vigilantes Anime)
  • Notable victories: Hood, Stendhal, Kuin Hachisuka, and multiple Instant Villains

Iwao Oguro, also known as Knuckleduster, is one of the famous Naruhata Vigilantes and The Crawler’s mentor, meaning that he was responsible for stopping many of the Instant Villains boosted by the Ideo Trigger drug that rampaged through their ward. On top of that, he was also single-handedly responsible for stopping the villain who was using and drugging them, Kuin Hachisuka (AKA Queen Bee).

But what’s especially interesting about Iwao Oguro is the fact that he used to be a famous Pro Hero called O’Clock, who used his incredible Overclock quirk to stop many villains, like a powerful Hooded Man who later became the High-End Nomu, Hood. Even though only nine of his victories were shown, he most likely won even more battles off-screen throughout his long career as a respected Pro Hero.

7

Enji Todoroki (Endeavor)

10 Fights Won

  • Debut: Chapter 28 (Manga) Episode 17 (Anime)
  • Notable victories: Multiple Nomus, Hood, Starservant, and Dabi

Endeavor was Japan’s #2 Pro Hero for many years, which means that he was always incredibly strong. He reached this position mainly thanks to his incredibly potent Hellflame quirk, which allows him to create and manipulate fire at will, but his constant hunger for more power and his obsession with surpassing All Might helped him as well.

On top of that, he eventually became the #1 Pro Hero after All Might retired, and he was the target of many villain attacks as a result. He fought and defeated multiple powerful opponents, like Hood, Starservant, and even his oldest son, Toya Todoroki (AKA Dabi). While Endeavor is quite a controversial character, it can’t be denied that he lived up to his reputation, and his impressive winning record is enough proof of his immense power.

6

Koichi Haimawari (The Crawler/The Skycrawler)

11 Fights Won

  • Debut: Chapter 1 (Vigilantes Manga) Episode 1 (Vigilantes Anime)
  • Notable victories: Multiple Instant Villains, Soga Kugisaki, Bee☆Pop, and Number 6

As the main character of the spin-off My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, it makes sense that Koichi Haimawari has one of the highest winning records in the entire franchise. Throughout his story, he became much stronger (thanks to Iwao Oguro’s tutelage), and he even learned how to properly wield his odd Slide and Glide quirk to fly and shoot enemies from a distance.

In terms of physical prowess and durability, nobody is beating these My Hero Academia heroes and villains in sheer physical strength.

As a result of his immense growth, The Crawler was not only able to take down multiple Trigger-boosted Instant Villains, but he also fought and defeated some surprisingly strong villains, like Bee☆Pop and Number 6. Additionally, he later traveled to the United States and became Captain Celebrity’s new sidekick, The Skycrawler, meaning that he most likely kept collecting more and more victories there.

5

Toshinori Yagi (All Might)

13 Fights Won

  • Debut: Chapter 1 (Manga) Episode 1 (Anime)
  • Notable victories: Toxic Chainsaw, Sludge Villain, U.S.J. Nomu, Wolfram, and All for One (x2)

All Might was Japan’s #1 Pro Hero and the world’s legendary Symbol of Peace for many years, meaning that he defeated countless powerful villains throughout his career. However, he only won thirteen on-screen battles during the main story, which is still an impressive number, especially when considering the power level of some of his opponents, like the U.S.J. Nomu, who was especially designed to overpower him, or Wolfram, who had boosted his quirk with David Shield’s Quirk Amplification Device.

However, the most important achievement in Toshinori Yagi’s entire life was the fact that he successfully defeated the Symbol of Evil, All for One, on two separate occasions, and even forced him to go into hiding for a long time. Fortunately for his fans, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes showed All Might in an entirely new light, because he was so absurdly powerful during this prequel/spin-off that he was able to single-handedly defeat pretty much any villain in just a few seconds.

4

Zen Shigaraki (All For One)

15 Fights Won

  • Debut: Chapter 59 (Manga) Episode 33 (Anime)
  • Notable victories: 6 One for All users, O’Clock, Best Jeanist, Star and Stripe, and All Might

On the other hand, All for One was the infamous Symbol of Evil who terrorized Japan for decades, until All Might finally put an end to his reign of terror. As the main antagonist of the entire My Hero Academia franchise, he inevitably has many unfortunate victories under his belt, with fifteen of them being shown or mentioned on-screen.

For starters, All for One not only murdered his brother, Yoichi Shigaraki, but he also killed every single person that inherited his One for All quirk, with the only exceptions being All Might and Deku. On top of that, he also defeated many powerful Pro Heroes, even in his weakened state, like O’Clock (whom he stole Overclock from), Best Jeanist, and Star and Stripe, USA’s #1 Pro Hero (although he was technically sharing a body with Tomura Shigaraki when he killed her). He was even able to take revenge on All Might and defeat him in battle during the Final War Arc, but he still had a very hard time doing so, because a quirkless Toshinori Yagi wore a cutting-edge armored suit that replicated the quirks of his beloved students.

3

Shoto Todoroki (Shoto)

17 Fights Won

  • Debut: Chapter 6 (Manga) Episode 5 (Anime)
  • Notable victories: Hanta Sero, Izuku Midoriya, Eraser Head, Chimera, Leviathan, and Dabi

Shoto Todoroki, from U.A. High School’s Class 1-A, is one of three main student characters in the series, meaning that he got quite a lot of screen time to strengthen his power and develop as a person. As a result, he managed to win seventeen on-screen fights in total, with many of them being friendly clashes against his classmates in the school’s Sports Festival.

In My Hero Academia, U.A. isn’t the only school with impressive heroes. These powerful individuals hail from other institutions.

But he became quite an efficient Pro Hero later on, mostly thanks to his powerful and versatile elemental quirk, Half-Cold Half-Hot, which allowed him to defeat a good number of dangerous villains (especially after he had fully mastered it), like Chimera, Leviathan, and even his brother, Dabi. Because of this, it’s no surprise that Shoto was able to become Japan’s #2 Pro Hero eight years after the main story ended.

2

Katsuki Bakugo (Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight)

20 Fights Won

  • Debut: Chapter 1 (Manga) Episode 1 (Anime)
  • Notable victories: Ochaco Uraraka, Eijiro Kirishima, Izuku Midoriya, Shoto Todoroki, Fumikage Tokoyami, Seiji Shishikura, Nine, Serpenters, and All for One

Katsuki Bakugo is the childhood friend and eternal rival of the series’ protagonist, Izuku Midoriya, and his significance to the story allowed him to participate in many different battles in which he got to showcase the full power of his Explosion quirk. But it’s also important to point out that Bakugo was not only born with an excellent quirk, but that he’s also a surprisingly intelligent and creative fighter who knew exactly how to train it and how to put it to good use, which allowed him to claim twenty victories in total.

As the winner of U.A. High School’s Sports Festival, many of the victories on his record were against his friends and classmates, like Kirishima, Tokoyami, or Todoroki. Unfortunately, he didn’t get the chance to participate in many real one-on-one fights against villains, but he was still able to defeat some really powerful ones, like the Trigger-boosted Serpenters and Nine (although, in the latter’s case, he needed to share One for All with Deku to win). While Bakugo suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of Shigaraki Tomura during the Final War Arc, he was the person responsible for finally taking down One for All once and for all, which was the most important achievement in his Pro Hero career.

1

Izuku Midoriya (Deku)

21 Fights Won

  • Debut: Chapter 1 (Manga) Episode 1 (Anime)
  • Notable victories: Hitoshi Shinso, All Might, Muscular (x2), Overhaul, Gentle Criminal, Wolfram, Nine, Flect Turn, Dark Might, Lady Nagant, and Tomura Shigaraki

As the main character of My Hero Academia, Izuku Midoriya got to participate in more on-screen battles than anybody else in the series, but that doesn’t make his astounding record of twenty-one wins any less impressive. He lived under the shadow of his idol and mentor, All Might, for quite a long time, until he got his first one-on-one battle against a powerful villain named Muscular, and he completely obliterated him in battle.

From that point onwards, Deku kept using his powerful One for All quirk to defeat countless other dangerous villains, like Overhaul, Wolfram, or Nine, even though he occasionally needed the assistance of other characters, like All Might or Bakugo. At one point, he even unlocked the other six quirks that were residing inside One for All, which (combined with the tutelage of their respective vestiges) allowed him to become stronger. By the end of the series, Deku had won in battles against Muscular (a second time), Flect Turn, Dark Might, Lady Nagant, and even Tomura Shigaraki himself. However, he was able to become the legendary One For All Hero: Deku, not only thanks to his victories but also because he succeeded in changing his country’s society for the better.
