Hypostyle Desert Dendroculus Locations In Genshin Impact

Hypostyle Desert is one of the many desert areas in Genshin Impact Natlan. While the place looks empty and barren at first glance, it has an extremely large underground area for players to explore and learn about the lore of King Deshret, one of the Three Eternal Companion-Gods in ancient Sumeru.

While the place is filled with enemies, the Hypostyle Desert also proves to be full of resources, such as treasure chests, Time-Trial Challenges, and even Dendroculus that can be offered to the Statue of the Seven. In total, there are 37 Dendroculus you can find in the Hypostyle Desert of Genshin Impact.

Start the exploration by going to The Dune of Elusion waypoint. To the west of the waypoint, use a Four-Leaf Sigil, and you will see a Time-Trial Challenge nearby. Start the trial, and it will bring you to the top of the pyramid where you can find the first Dendroculus.

If you have already completed the challenge, you can climb the pyramid manually, as the structure is not that tall.

From the previous spot, glide south to find a puzzle in the form of Pyro monuments. Solve the puzzle by lighting up all 3 Pyro monuments, and you can get the Dendroculus in the middle.

After getting the last Dendroculus, enter the door to the west, which leads to an underground ruin. Once you’re inside and using the first elevator you see, you will reach a lower floor. Afterward, start the elevator you just used and let it go to the upper floor where you previously were, but don’t ride alongside it.

A hidden elevator underneath it will then appear, and you can use that one to reach the lowest floor. Once you arrive at the hidden area, follow the stairs on the left and complete the puzzles to get to the third Dendroculus.

Next, use the teleport waypoint in The Dune of Magma and head southwest to the small ruin. Enter the ruin and complete the puzzles to activate the last elevator, which will bring you to the exit and get the next Dendroculus.

From the previous spot, head northeast towards the two platforms behind The Mausoleum of King Deshret. For this Dendroculus, simply activate the mechanism so the fan will turn, and you can glide above it to reach the Oculus.

The next Dendroculus is on another platform where you must use a Mysterious Replicator Keystone to activate a hidden Primal Sandglasses. Complete the challenge to make the invisible wall around the lower platform disappear.

From the previous spot, head north towards an abandoned ruin and use the Four-Leaf Sigil to reach the Dendroculus on top of the wreckage.

Now, teleport to the waypoint northwest of The Mausoleum of King Deshret and glide with the wind current in front of you to reach the Dendroculus in the air.

Return to the previous waypoint and jump down to find a hidden entrance that leads further underground to the north. Continue down the road and complete the puzzles until you reach the last room with a Time-Trial Challenge. After the challenge is completed, an elevator will take you to the exit, and you can get the Dendroculus.

Next, teleport to the Garden of Endless Pillars domain waypoint and climb the hill to the east to find the next Dendroculus.

Head to the entrance of The Dune of Carouses by teleporting to a nearby waypoint and entering the ruin. Once you’re inside, interact with the red crystal in the middle and change it to blue. This will cause the invisible wall to disappear, allowing you to get the Dendroculus.

Teleport to the Statue of the Seven in the Hypostyle Desert and use the Four-Leaf Sigils to reach the highest hill in the northwest. Then, glide downward slowly to the Dendroculus.

From the previous spot, glide west until you see a Four-Leaf Sigil inside a wind current. Glide along the wind current to reach the Dendroculus floating in the air.

Go back to the Statue of the Seven in the Hypostyle Desert and head south to the Khemenu Temple. A Dendroculus can be seen on top of a headless statue.

Climb back upwards and walk to the southwest to the edge of Khemenu Temple to find another Dendroculus.

Now, go to the waypoint inside The Mausoleum of King Deshret and head northeast to a small hole in the wall for the next Dendroculus.

Return to the previous waypoint and head further inside the mausoleum. At the center of the structure, head to the room on the south to find a Dendroculus in front of a mural.

Go back to the center of the mausoleum, and this time, go to the room on the north for another Dendroculus also in front of a mural.

Teleport to the underground waypoint west of Khemenu Temple and walk west to find two rooms on the north and south. Go to the north room and open a door to find a Dendroculus at the end of the corridor.

From this point onwards, all the Dendroculus will be located in the underground ruins of The Mausoleum of King Deshret. It’s best if you complete the related Golden Slumber Quest and its continuation, so your Scarlet Sand Slate will have the maximum permission.

Teleport to the previous waypoint. Once you have arrived, enter the door to the south to find a room with a huge ship. Use the Four-Leaf Sigil to reach the top of the ship.

Head to the Dune of Magma using its teleport waypoint and enter the ruin so you can find an entrance to the underground area. When gliding downwards through the entrance, you will get the next Dendroculus.

Next, use the underground waypoint southwest of The Mausoleum of King Deshret and head west to an area filled with huge yellow mushrooms. Use the Four-Leaf Sigils in the room to reach the top of a mushroom for a Dendroculus.

Return to the previous waypoint. This time, head east to the broken platform and get the Dendroculus peeking through.

From the previous spot, head north, following the path to reach the middle level of the cavern. Continue heading north until you see two huge statues; the Dendroculus is on the second floor behind the statues.

Teleport to the underground waypoint north of The Mausoleum of King Deshret and drop down to the bottom level to the south. Use the Four-Leaf Sigil to reach the Dendroculus at the top of a statue.

From the previous spot, head south to the available room and go to the second floor. Climb the wall to reach the Dendroculus.

Return to the previous waypoint, and this time, use the Four-Leaf Sigils to reach Opet Hall. Go to the back area from the main room, and you will be able to see another Dendroculus.

Teleport to the underground waypoint north of The Mausoleum of King Deshret once again and head west. The next Dendroculus is on top of a statue, and you can use the Four-Leaf Sigils.

From the previous spot, continue following the path to the southwest so you can reach a small area with a Withering Zone. (You don’t have to remove it to get the Dendroculus on the tree.)

Head to Sekhem Hall by using the underground waypoint southeast of The Mausoleum of King Deshret, and you will be able to see a Dendroculus in front of you. However, it is located much too high, so you need to complete the puzzle in the room to create a wind current that lets you collect the Dendroculus.

After you get the previous Dendroculus, teleport back to the same waypoint and enter the room on the east to find the next Dendroculus on the lowest floor.

Leave the room and head further south towards the construction site. Here, you can find a Dendroculus inside one of the scaffolds.

From the previous spot, head north and enter the small entrance at the lowest level to reach a rock cavern area. Follow the path to the east and look up to see a Dendroculus between a broken bridge.

The next Dendroculus is in the middle of The Mausoleum of King Deshret. Teleport to the waypoint east of the mausoleum and climb the pyramid until you reach the middle part of it to find the Dendroculus.

Now, use the waypoint on the side of the Garden of Endless Pillars Domain before heading to the middle of the Gurabad’s Ruin. There, enter the door leading east to the lower level to find the next Dendroculus on a statue.

Return to the middle of Gurabad’s Ruin and this time, enter the entrance on the northwest to reach the lower level of the west. The Dendroculus is at the end of this area, on top of a branch.

Teleport to the waypoint on the side of the Garden of Endless Pillars Domain before walking forward to get to the last Dendroculus in the Hypostyle Desert of Genshin Impact.
