How to reduce the requirements of the Frostland team
Frostpunk 2 throws you into a stark post-apocalyptic world, where you must lead a city through a harsh winter and make tough choices to protect your people. If your focus is on your city, you'll eventually need to venture into the unknown to find resources. To get to the Frostlands, you need a special group, called Frostland Teams. This guide discusses how you can get more Frostland Teams to explore and colonize the frozen world Frostpunk 2.
How to get more Frostland crew in Frostpunk 2
Frostland Teams at Frostpunk 2 can be received through Logistics District. These buildings are responsible for sending map trips to Frostland and transferring resources between cities and their colonies.
The problem is, The Logistics District cannot be built on old parking lots. They are located on the outer edge of your settlement land, which means you need Frostbreak to reach these locations before construction begins.
At first you understand Ten Frostland Teams by establishing a Logistics District, which is enough to start exploring the nearby areas. However, as your city grows and your needs increase, you will need to build more Logistics Districts to get more teams. You can also update your Logistics District, which then gives you 15 Team Frostland in each district.
The expanded Logistics District comes with two buildings, where you can set up Logistics Bays. Each Logistic Bay has the ability to provide additional 15 Team Frostland. With two Logistics Bays in the expanded District, you can get a total of 45 Team Frostland.
There are two types of Logistics Bays you can create Frostpunk 2:
Automated Bay
Automated Logistics Bays rely on the use of machines to manufacture equipment, cutting the workforce to 500. These bays are more efficient and require less storage space. Moreover, they create more 15 Team Frostland.
Vanguard Bay
On the other hand, Vanguard Bays focuses on defense equipment and training. They need 600 workers and can produce maximum 20 Team Frostland.
How to reduce the requirements of the Frostland team
You can do it too reduce mining costs to reduce the number of Frostland Teams required for research. Doing so frees up some Frostland Teams, so you can send them to other areas for scouting. This can be done through two research projects:
- Scout Headquarters: Survivalist Centers greatly reduce research costs and time, meaning you need fewer Frostland crews on your missions.
- Scout Training: Pathfinder Scouts can reduce the number of Frostland Teams needed for each trip. They reduce the level of threat to the territory, and ultimately reduce the risk of Frostland Teams getting lost or injured.
