PlayStation Welcome is a new feature for PlayStation 5 it's the new first screen you see when you turn on your PlayStation. This screen is highly customizable, allowing you to add or remove widgets to prioritize the visibility you feel is most important.
PlayStation Welcome also has a background that can be changed to any image you like, although this background appears behind your widgets and will disappear when you exit the PlayStation Welcome icon. Although the conceptual framework is different from the PlayStation 4; Players can customize it and at least create a background that will be visible every time you turn on the PlayStation.
How to change the ending of your PlayStation Welcome
PlayStation Welcome will be the first icon you see every time you log in PlayStation 5 will rotate, and pressing down on the left joystick or d-pad will fully open the Welcome page. To change your background, open the Welcome page and double click to scroll to the edit button. Swipe right twice to select the background option to open your three background options. Any background or image you choose remains the background on the Welcome page until you choose another.
The displayed widgets can be turned on or off to show only what you want, but three need to be kept alive. For those who want to prioritize background visibility over widgets, repeat the following three:
- battery life
- the trophy
- Store
Although these three will appear as smaller widgets on the left side of the screen, it will leave most of the screen open to reveal the background.
How to get other images on PlayStation Welcome
The easiest and most simple way to get pictures from the game as a background is to bring yourself to use the screenshot option in any game. The third popup in the background menu is your media gallery, allowing you to choose any photo you've taken as your background. This option is not the cheapest but it guarantees the best image quality.
Also using screenshots, you're good to go in the PlayStation store and a screenshot of a screenshot from the game to use them as a backgroundwhich will always guarantee a high quality image.
You can find images on your PC and download them to a USB before plugging that USB into your PlayStation. Once installed, you will have other options in the Media Gallery application that allow you to Open the image on the USB and select the image to use as your backgroundalthough this method usually results in low quality images unless you are downloading the best ones from the Internet with your PC.
