How to use Stormchaser
The skies in Aloft are absolutely vast, and even there's a lot of fun to be had in slowly unlocking new areas on your tabletop map by taking to the skies and seeing what's out there. , if you are looking for something special and want a style. Find out quickly, explore the construction and use of the Stormchaser, a machine in the Navigation tab in the Crafting menu on your island that can leading you to important islands.
Are you missing a crafting recipe or two that you've been desperately trying to find so you can finish a lot of buildings or make that one machine you can't find to finally recycle all your resources? Take a ferry to the nearest one stone of knowledge you might be disappointed in the search (they can be hidden despite the shiny rocks and red color – we sure didn't see a few the first time!). Similarly, if you need new equipment for your island, you can choose to find a lost anchor instead.
If you plan to work in a healing environment instead of expanding your recipe book, you may also choose to research or broken island where you need to fight your way to eradicate the corruption before you can deal with the health of the planet, or choose to search for the nearest unhealthy environment if you want to get your hands dirty, work on healing them!
Unhealthy environments are also on your table map – when an island appears in yellow on your map, either the environment there is unhealthy or you haven't visited in a while to check but it is true. Stormchaser's unhealthy environment options are best used early if you're still exploring the skies and haven't gotten to the islands to mark them yet.
Once you find the recipe for the Stormchaser, you can build it and place it on your island for easy access. Installing Stormchaser is expensive 20 Stones, ten Windstone Crystals and five Charcoal.
After building Stormchaser you can offering resources in exchange for leads in connection with the machine. By default, you need empty One Distilled Water, one Charcoal and five Windstone Shards. You need a fourth ingredient to search for these things as well, which we have listed in the table below.

When used, Stormchaser emits smoke towards the targetlets you sail that way, check your table map as you go, and triangulate the nearest island with what you're looking for.
