Here are the best old Pokemon cards in the Pokemon TCG Pocket.
This deck relies on Pikachu ex's Circuit Circle, which deals increased damage based on the number of Pokemon you have on the bench. Below we'll go over all the cards you'll need to build this chapter, how to play them, and some of the gameplay.
Pikachu and Zapdos ex Decklist
The star of this chapter is Pikachu ex SY Zapdos exboth of which are very strong Basic Electric type attackers. Pikachu's Circuit Circle is capable of dealing with each other 90 damage for just two energybut he requires three Pokemon to be on the bench. That's why we include it two versions Voltorb and Electrodeso that we can fill the bench early and take full advantage of the Circle Circuit.
Zapdos offers a different method for the offense, however rely on coin flipping to deal a lot of damage. It can be dangerous, especially at the cost of three energies, therefore Pikachu is usually better than the odds.
The remaining cards in the deck are to support these Pokemon, along with Giovanni, Sabrina, Poke Ball, and the Professor's research will be a staple of most powerhouse decks. Here are all the cards you need.

Deck Strategy
The main strategy in this chapter is to catch Pikachu as fast as possiblethen fill the bench with your remaining Pokemon. Since this deck contains mostly Basic Pokemon, you can take advantage of Poke Ball to draw the rest of your Pokemon and then put them on the bench.
Zapdos and Voltorb/Electrode are also good starter cards, especially in decks that play boost cards like Misty, Gardevoir, or Moltres ex. The electrode has no reverse chargemaking it a good choice for puts Energy on Pikachuand with the same holiday price, Zapdos ex can be restarted for free using X Speed.
Zapdos also has Peckthat There is only one Energy pricemaking it a good choice remove the damage firstespecially on water type bases where Peck can be very effective.
Overall, the strategy of this deck is simple and easy to understand, which is one of the reasons why it is so strong.
Deck Matchups
As mentioned above, this deck is very versatile good against water type decksespecially the Starmie and Articuno ex deck. If they set up Staryu in an active position, a Zapdos ex uses Peck with Giovanni can remove it immediately, giving you time put energy into Zapdos or Pikachu on the bench.
Basically, this deck works well in most neutral games thank you Pikachu effective energy in damage. That is, in a a major loss to the type combat base LIKE THAT Marowak ex or Machamp ex. Fortunately, these decks are not as plentiful as other options, so the number of Pikachu ex decks is limited.
