Generation Z has spoken, the hot rod man is in, and they don’t want him to be smoked out.

For anyone who has ever worn skinny jeans, the concept of the hot rod man may sound foreign, but young people use this term to describe a hipster.

A hot rodent man can also be called a “sexy rat boyfriend”.

Generation Z wants hot rodents and is very vocal about it online.

“Hot rodent summer,” explained one on X.

“Rise of the hot rodent,” wrote another.

“I hope one day someone will call me a rat friend,” one shared.

So what exactly is a hot rodent or a sexy rat? Good question.

Essentially, it’s a lanky man as opposed to someone who is more stocky. It’s someone with deep-set eyes and pale skin who scurries around rather than walking purposefully. Essentially, it’s the opposite of a finance bro.

Johnny Depp is a prime example of a hot rodent in the 90s. He wasn’t Brad Pitt, he was still great, but he looked like he was more afraid of vitamin C.

This word is used to describe someone who is not good-looking in the traditional sense, but is still hot.

While Chris Hemsworth is conventionally perfect with his very white teeth, tanned skin, muscular body and blonde hair, someone like musician Matty Healy is just as hot, just in a different way.

He is pale, slim, angular and stunning.

Do you understand?

Gen Z thinks this is pretty clever, but it’s really just a fancier way of describing what millennials would call a hot hipster or indie guy.

On the internet, this generation declares that skinny men in leather jackets are just as hot as gym guys in football shorts and acts like it’s some cultural revelation.

Generation Z wants men who look like they have a calcium deficiency and like they’re writing love poems.

They claim that Alex Turner of the Arctic Monkeys wrote to Alexa Chung in the mid-2000s and said, “Ever since you kissed him, my mouth hasn’t shut up about you.”

Millennials have already experienced it all!

Of course, Generation Z thinks this is a new idea, but anyone who grew up in Australia and witnessed the rise and fall of the band Short Stack, consisting of three pale men with huge hair, knows that this is not a new desire among young people.

The concept has become so viral that the US version of the Today’s show hilariously discussed the idea during a rather embarrassing segment.

Jenna Bush Hagger, daughter of former US President George Bush, co-hosted the show and explained it clearly.

“Hot rodent lovers and sexy rat men are one and the same, so if someone comes up to you and says ‘hi sexy rat man,’ they are also calling you a rodent lover,” she explained.

The show even provided a list of what makes a man a hot rod. They must exude the opposite of toxic masculinity, not be conventionally attractive (which makes them hot), have angular facial features, and show their love to their partners publicly but in a weird way.

The list essentially described Travis Barker licking Kourtney Kardashian in public.

Mrs Bush Hagger was totally in favour.

“You should want to date Stuart Little,” she advised. In fact, Stuart Little is the fictional mouse who can talk.

Although the term “rodent” or “rat” may sound like an insult, everyone can rest assured that it is not.

On the internet, some of the hottest young male stars are declared sexy rats.

Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend, Timothee Chalamet, has been called a “rat” but is still considered a Gen Z sex symbol.

The same goes for Jeremy Allen White, who just won a Golden Globe for his work in the series. The

Carryis also called a rodent, and that is not an insult.

“Jeremy Allen White gives me rodents,” someone recently tweeted

Hot rodent men are in and if you’re lucky, one will soon be scurrying towards you.
