Things get worse when Shoto is born as Endeavor realizes that he now has the perfect child. In the end, one of his attempts resulted in his body being completely burned, whereupon he was presumed dead. In fact, he survived, and that's when Dr. Garaki found him. Now he has created a new hobby. He especially felt that he liked to eat when he paid respect to Dabi's temple.

Shoto seems to visit Dabi's Residence from time to time and, there, pay her respects. During one of these visits, she realizes that she likes to eat, and because of her love of soba, which she shares with Toya, she wants to enroll in Ishikawa's pottery and chopstick making classes. Shoto believes that soba will taste better for dinner, and this is his way of honoring his brother, whom he loves very much.

Here, Horikoshi just confirms that Toya is finally dead. The exact cause of his death is not known, but it should not surprise the fans, because My Hero Academia has confirmed to fans that he will die in the end, as his life has been cut short.

The fact that he still goes to his place of worship to pay his respects just shows what a good brother he is.

Shoto enrolling in Ishikawa's class just shows that he still thinks about his brother and carries him in his heart. Learning is very important to him because it is a hobby he shares with his brother.
