The confirmation did not reveal the release date or the platform for the sequel, but it said that it can be played at Jump Festa 2025, which will take place at the end of December.

According to Weekly Jump, The Hinokami Chronicles 2 will cover the events of the Entertainment District all the way to the Hashira Training Arc, which is close to where the anime is currently set.
