Although the epilogue chapter does not solve all the problems The JJK Finally, it certainly adds a lot of exciting content, and gives fans a glimpse of the relationship between the various characters and how they build up after the end of the Shinjuku conflict. Fans saw Nobara meet his family and the development of this meeting, and at the same time, Yuji and Ozawa also continued their friendship. However, most fans have seen Yuta's family as well, and there is a huge hint of him ending up with Maki after the Shinjuku Showdown Arc.

Fans saw the JJK characters again after the finale
JJK's latest book is truly massive and not only because it is the final piece of the puzzle that completes Gege Akutami's Magnum Opus, but also because fans get a new epilogue chapter with it. Those who wonder what happened a few years after the end of the story have something to read and enjoy. The statement about The JJK epilogue was held during Jump Festa 2025. It was made clear to fans that JJK will get a 16-page epilogue with the final book, and it will focus on some characters. These characters are revealed to be Nobara, Ozawa, Panda, and finally, Urume. At the time, it was unclear to fans how this epilogue would play out.
To be honest, giving the fans so much POV in just 16 pages of chapters seems pretty difficult to do on paper. However, it can be said that the author has done it well. While each of these mini-episodes could be its own chapter, fans are happy to at least get something before the series officially ends forever.
Do you still like snow, Itadori-kun? – Ozawa
JJK Chapter 272 opens with Ozawa's epilogue, and fans get to see him meet Yuji, who he loves. It's not clear what the writers are building up to here, but what can be said is that these two characters may end up together in the future. It's certainly exciting for the fans, but in the main form, Ozawa is a non-existent character, so while it's exciting, it's not the most interesting part of the story. Fans were a bit shocked when they heard about Panda's story, which takes place many years in the future, at a time when Yuta even has a grandson.
Yuta and Maki might end up together
The Epilogue introduces Panda as Yuta's grandson
It is through Panda's epilogue that fans learn about Yuta and Maki's relationship. Actually, Panda stopped working in the year 2035. By this time, he had reached his limit, and this cursed corpse was kept in the organization of Gojo Clan, under the leadership of the head of the Clan, Yuta. While many fans were hoping for a timeskip in JJK at one point, what they didn't expect was to get another timeskip, leading them to the year 2080.
Don't get distracted by them. These are Grandpa's treasures. – Yuta's grandson
Some 62 years after the end of the Shinjuku Showdown Arc, fans learned that Yuta already had a grandson. The grandchildren were clearly shown to fans, and it can be said that they carry elements of Maki and Yuta. One of Yuta's grandchildren is a boy, and he seems to be the older one, while the other is a girl. The girl looks a lot like Yuta, but the boy looks like Maki, and in many ways, like Megumi as well.
Of course, these are Zenin's genes that shine brightly and cannot be ignored.
Sadly, fans didn't get to see Maki or Yuta. However, just by looking at Yuta's grandson, it is clear that he had a child with Maki. Unfortunately, the children of Yuta and Maki were not revealed to the fans, but, at least, their grandchildren are sure to be fun to watch.

JJK's epilogue dropped today. The stories add additional information needed for the ending.
Fans also saw children playing inside the storage area, where the Panda doll was found. At first they believed that this doll was just a stuffed toy. The older man made it clear that this was indeed a cursed corpse and a treasure that Yuta loved. This corpse began to move, and it was revealed to fans that sometimes Panda can move and talk. Panda then talks to Yuta's grandson, saying that they never did anything like him. This was definitely a comedy part of the story, but at the same time it was also quite shocking. Fans just want to see Yuta and Maki as well, and that would have been more fun for sure.
What happened to Rika?
Rika is still at JJK after 62 years
Naturally, when fans think of Yuta's teammates, Rika comes to mind. But, considering that Rika is a Cursed Spirit, fans know that at the end of the day, these two won't really end up together. That said, it turns out that Rika is involved in every relationship that develops between Yuta and Maki. This is clear from the fact that Yuta's grandson wears his chain ring, and considering that it was there to protect Yuta at one point, it seems that Rika's chain is to protect his grandson now. It makes even more sense when one finds out that he is the child most like Yuta.
Rika seems to have become the protector of the family after the end of the war. This means that Rika protected Yuta and Maki's children, and Rika is still protecting her children now. It's no surprise that Yuta and Maki's child is named Rika, but of course that's just a myth.
However, it's incredible to see that Rika is still around and doing her job of protecting Yuta's legacy. Hopefully, if JJK as it continues, fans will see old Yuta, and with him, Maki as well.
Now, all the fans about these characters, and, unfortunately, this part of the epilogue is only two pages. If the writers had made a whole chapter about these characters, they could have seen Yuta and Maki in their old age, and maybe even their children. But, for now, fans will have to be happy with what they got.
The Epilogue of Jujutsu Kaisen was published with the Final Volume. JJK's last book will be released in Japan on December 25, 2024. The Book in English will be published in 2025.
