The file size has been announced for the upcoming January 2025 lineup PlayStation Plus free games. The first edition of PS Plus in 2025 brings three separate games for fans of superheroes, outdoor racing and surreal adventures.
At the start of the new year, Sony announced three games that PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to claim for free, namely Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remasteredand The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe. The PS Plus January 2025 lineup runs live from Tuesday, January 7 to Monday, February 3, and customers on every tier of the service can access these games.

Next in order of file size for the January 2025 PS Plus line is Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remasteredrequire relatively modest 31.55GB for the PS4 version. It is worth noting that there is no PS5 update for the Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remasteredwhich means that free world hunters are not using the more powerful tools and improved features. Last but not least is The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxejust demanding 5.10GB on PS4 SY 5.77GB on PS5. The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe is a retelling of the original from 2013, and stands as a scary indie title because of how it plays with the concept of existential dread.
The January 2025 free PS Plus lineup offers a fairly diverse palette of games, but considering two of them are remasters of ten-year-old titles, it's safe to say why some customers may not feel happy with them. One can only hope that the rest of PS Plus 2025 is stronger.
