The former Bethesda developer recently revealed that he was surprised by how many screens were included Starfield developmentally delayed. One of the most controversial aspects of the Starfieldso it's surprising to see former developers say that the game could have existed without them.

In the past Starfield designer Nate Purkeypile, who worked on Starfield until 2021, recently told VideoGamer that the title has a heavier area during its tenure. Where it really seemed to be a problem was in the game's main cities, like Neon, where Purkeypile worked a lot. According to Purkeypile, Starfield “It could have happened without them [loading zones]. It's like some of them weren't there when I was working on it so I was surprised that there were so many. ” Unfortunately, Purkeypile could not explain why it was included in the final version of the game, but their arguments indicate that everything is about performance. The ex-Bethesda dev is explained that the heavy distribution of regions is due to the way Bethesda's Creation Temple works, and that the activation of some regions is mainly to improve the performance.
