Dragon Age: The Veilguard – Bloodshed

In the beginning Dragon Age: The VeilguardTwo cities are under attack, and you can defend only one of them. The city you jump to is hit as a result, and that city's allies get stronger.

Later you can start completing companion quests, helping them with their problems to make them more useful. However, a few companion quests are important to become the main story quest, and you must complete them in order to progress in the game. If you choose to defend Treviso early in the game, this quest is “The Cobbled Swan Case.” If you choose Minrathous, the mandatory companion quest is “Bloodbath.”

Where is the collection of blood clots found

Whether it's mandatory or optional, it's mostly the same as Bloodbath. Start the quest by going to the southeast part of Treviso, in the Streets of Coin Financials area. There are many chests and Mementos to collect as you approach and explore the chantry. Here's how to get started:

  • Go up the first ladder and open the large chest on the left.
  • Exit through the broken window, and go around the boxes to the left. Break the plank, align the balance beam, and look to the right to find another large chest.
  • Back outside, climb the blue roof in the middle of the area. There are memories between sets.

Follow the search bar to continue. Illario appears, surprising Lucanis. Say “Lucanis said no” to get approval. After the conversation, continue to the roof and down the stairs to the chantry courtyard.

  • Go straight south from the stairs and take the stairs down and around. Cut the plank to open a small chest.
  • There is a Memorial near the main gate in the southeast corner of the courtyard.
  • Take the stairs up to the front door, but turn right to find a large chest. Next, go left through the door to get a small chest.

Go through the front door and run into a large group of Venatori led by Porcia (more on her and the other minibosses below).

  • Check Porcia's body for items.
  • The southeast corner of this room has a small chest.

This guide for Dragon Age: The Veilguard collects all of Game Rant's useful articles for the game.

You can continue by opening the door in the northeast corner, then connect to the bookshelf. Doing so reveals a ladder. Go forward from the bottom of the stairs, then look to the right to find a large chest in a cage.

This path leads to the inner courtyard, where you will find more Venatori and Faustus.

  • Like Porcia, Faustus also drops breasts.
  • Go through the double doors to the prayer room. There is a small chest in front of him, by the door on the far side of the prayer room.
  • The next miniboss fight is against Nonus and Decimus. The second it falls, it drops a chest.
  • Go south from the battle to find a small chest.
  • In the west there are two rooms: one to the south, one to the north. The north room has a small chest inside.
  • Enter the south room and climb the stairs. Use the broken window to cross to the second floor of the north room and place the ladder, then open the small chest on the north wall.
  • Jump from the broken window on the north wall to land next to a large chest. Open it, then jump over the fence to get back on the path.

Once you return to the south room, Zara is just a hallway.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard – Best 8 combo attack

Allies in Dragon Age: The Veilguard can combine their abilities to unleash devastating combo attacks. Here are the best ones to use.

How to defeat bloodthirsty minibosses

Dragon Age Veilguard Bloodbasses Minibosses

As you make your way through the Fallen Chantry, you'll meet Zara's lieutenants, Venatori cultists who look like normal enemies but have special health and traits. Here's what to expect from each.

Porcia

Porcia is a Venatori mage with her personality Necrotic Imbued, Necromancer, and Rejuvenating. This means his block can recover if you don't attack him for too long, and he can summon an undead warrior. Only one fighter can control it, but you can summon a new fighter once you destroy the existing one. Your best bet is to focus all your attention on them first, and then wash the other cultists when you're done.

Faustus

Faustus is a Venatori warrior with Physical and explosive movements. This causes his physical attacks to fail, and every ten seconds or so, he damages a large area around himself. For this battle encounter, take out his support mages first, and try to keep Faustus at bay with elemental weapons.

Nonus and Decimus

These are two Venatori guards. None have Armor, Juggernaut and Searing Tetherwhile Decimus Frenzy, Cannon Glass, and Tether Searing. The Juggernaut version is much harder to knock down or smash than Nonus, plus he doesn't have a Stagger bar. Frenzy and Glass Cannon combine to give Decimus more attack and more damage, but no more health. Finally, the Searing Tether connects the two, and will damage Rook if you stand between them.

Due to his offensive nature, Decimus is the first target, and Nonus is only concerned when he falls. Like other shield enemies, you can get past their defenses by using charged attacks, skills, and using your allies to get their attention.

How to defeat Zara Renata

Dragon Age Veilguard Bloodbath Zara

Zara behaves like a killer enemy, which means that she attacks quickly and can counter attacks without charges that are immediate. Like other Venatori, he is resistant to fire and vulnerable to cold, and has the Physical Imbued trait. However, he also has some unique conditions that make this battle more of a puzzle than a straightforward battle.

  • Zara doesn't want to leave the pool of blood. If you avoid it, all he can do is attack you with a three-projectile move and teleport around.
  • If you enter the pool, his attacks include nova blood, teleport strike, long range combo, and drill charge.
  • At three points during the battle, Zara will summon three Venatori. Two will attack Rook and his friends, while the third will stand his ground and create obstacles for Zara. While the generator is alive, Zara's block will change again if you don't hit her often. If you defeat all the generators, Zara's barrier will decrease.
  • Multiple waves of minions can spawn at once, so take them out as soon as they appear. Don't worry about Zara until they are all gone.

When Zara's health drops to zero, her death occurs in one scene. A lot happens, and then Rook and Lucanis go back to the Lighthouse to talk. Your reward for this quest is available 2,250 XP, armor for Lucanis, 400 gold, and +100 Antivan Crows Strength.
