The second problem with the leaderboard is that the scores are not pulled directly from the game. Instead, it's up to players to upload videos of their races to YouTube or other video-sharing platforms, which are then added to the charts. This means that the legitimacy of Musk's run is further questioned, as there is no tangible evidence that he is actually playing the game during the run.
