Just as Momo and Okarun are about to take control, Acrobatic Silky arrives and takes Aira into her arms. He longs to hear her call his mother again, he doesn't know that Aira doesn't remember him at all. When Aira calls him a monster, Acrobatic Silky eats him alive. Soon after, he eats Okarun and Momo as well, only to free everyone in a cunning move.

While Acrobatic Silky tries to fight back, the yokai is defeated by Momo and Okarun. But the brutal fight, unfortunately, led to the death of Aira. While Momo and Okarun are shocked by the shell, Acrobatic Silky gathers her strength and approaches them. He offers to revive Aira by replenishing his aura and even removes her jaw to assure the two men that she is no longer dangerous. Miraculously, Acrobatic Silky sacrifices himself to give Aira a new life. Shiratori knows that the yokai regrets not being a good mother and, in a way, tries to make amends. He embraced the remaining aura of Acrobatic Silky and assured her that he would remember her forever.
