The Witcher 3: The Beast is a pillar of the RPG Genre. In fact, many consider it one of the best games ever made. It's so popular fans can't wait for the next CD projekt title. Unfortunately, the launch of Cyberpunk 2077 left the fans in awe, until the end later, with the Phantom Liberty DLC.
If you ask people about it now, they will say Cyberpunk 2077 is a great game with a good open world, but they might choose 3 skinners over it. However, sales figures tell a different story. The future of CDPR Future RPG sold more of my journey than the black fantasy RPG did at the same time.
Cyberpunk 2077 sold 35 million copies faster than Wizard 3
I stated that as of yesterday, Cyberpunk 2077 has sold 35 million copies after opening in December 2020.
The last part of the announcement is not very surprising. The long time with DLC, Cyberpunk 2077 saw the big announcement in 2023 to fix all the problems the game suffered. This increased a large radio frequency that could have hindered the game due to its broken nature. With the launch of the Switch 2, these factors have certainly helped Rake in its final income for the studio.
What's surprising is that it sold 35 million copies faster than Witcher 3, especially given its popularity.

The earnings call also revealed that the development of the Cyberpunk Sequel is fully focused, with 135 developers working on the project, and that it will be coming soon. However, most of the devs are busy focusing on 4 evil wizards, there are currently 447 working on them. This split suggested that the time gap between the two games may not be the same between their cases.
