MADRID: Climate activists on Tuesday painted over buildings on the Spanish holiday island of Ibiza owned by Argentine soccer star Lionel Messi to highlight the “responsibility of the rich in the climate crisis”. Activists from the Futuro Vegetal group have released a video showing two members standing in front of a house near the Cala Tarida well on Ibiza's west coast, holding a sign that reads: “Help the Planet — Eat the Rich — Fire the Police.” Activists splashed red and black paint on the building's white facade.
