Chapter Two, The Study of Research

The rise of the golden idol continues the story from The matter of the golden idolalthough the sequel is meant to be a solo adventure that players can enjoy without feeling like the first title. The point-and-click, drag-and-drop gameplay remains the same, with players collecting lists of words and specifying their locations in various texts, notes, and stories.

The game consists of several chapters, each longer and more difficult than the next, so it helps to have a specific guide in addition to the suggestions already given. Chapter Two consists of four chapters, most of which are explanations of the origin and location of the golden idol he coveted so much. Spoiler alert! The following guide contains a complete walkthrough and major spoilers for the prologue and Chapter Two of The Rise of The Golden Idol.

Chapter Two

The persecution

Chapter 2 has four sections. This is one more than Chapter 1, which is only three. There are some characters and characters introduced in the prologue and Chapter 1 that reappear, so feel free to check out these old lists for clarification.

Remember that each section has a list of individual words that players can view at any time using the “Words” icon at the bottom of the screen.

Overview

This puzzle is easy to solve at the end, but it is short and easy to figure out what happened even without finding all the words. Note the external moon phases and calendar dates.

The finished article is;

The events of the Harmony Foundation in August 17, 1974, the results death of a person.

THINGS THAT HAPPENED

There is already a sign that a murder has taken place, or the player has noticed that this mysterious lady is burying people in her Zen Garden. The text of the completed event is;

'Partner' VISIT 'Storyteller' the IN EXCHANGE OF the artifacts FOR Money.

During the meeting, 'Partner' tried suddenly rob 'The Narrator'.

In return, 'Narrator' Cast 'Colleague' in the hair spray and then pulled up a rug.

As a result, 'Partner' has fallen SY song the rock.

There are two categories at the bottom of the screen called “Corkboard” and “History” that have not yet been completed. This currently includes empty, dark spaces that will gradually be revealed as players work their way through the chapters.

Scary incident at Stonewall Prison

There are two episodes to watch here, just like the first episode. First, the player explores the interior of the prison and gathers information about the inmates, and what they find includes data on the staff.

From the outside, it is easy to tell which cell is empty, and this is the “mystery” person. Prisoners outside have a few things to say about their colleagues and guards, who give them their rooms and their names.

Here is the coded message that helped the “mysterious” prisoner escape. The number in the date from the letter corresponds to the character sketch on the poster, which can be linked to other cartoons on the same poster using matching colors.

This is a detailed account of the prisoner's escape. Important steps to remember for the next two cases. It contains three paragraphs that are complete with the following words.

There's a lot to see in these two detailed screens, but don't forget what happened in the drive-thru is connected to what happened in the prison and the Zen Garden. Some of these characters have appeared before.

A shocking murder at an auction house

There's a lot to be had at the auction house, where all sorts of shame happens when the lights go out. Not only does the player navigate through two screens, but each of those screens has a day and night version. Players can switch it back and forth using the clock on the top right.
