As the iconic map returns to Black Ops 6, let's celebrate its history.

There's little room to add anything else, so imagine the shock when a player unleashes a giant jumbo jet in the middle of a battleground map.

The mysterious plane of Nuketown

In a short video posted on Reddit, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 player Anomli dives deep into the game's famous Nuketown Domination mode.

Anomli approaches the center of the map and releases a grenade to throw, but when the blast is thrown, a giant jet appears in his path. Many of the comments were quick to point out that it's like something from Pokemon, except for the creature, it's a plane, and instead of a PokeBall, it's a grenade.

As the plane takes off, you can see one of Anomli's colleagues looking on in confusion, adding to the clip's comedic gold.

While the situation puzzled many on Reddit, user TabbedScamper shared a theory as to why this happened: “For things to look good in 3D space they have to be close to 0,0, 0 (X,Y,Z) you can see it as an example in minecraft, I mean the plane that has to be called every time it is saved in the map all the time the visibility is set to null. So I think the center of the plane is at 0,0.0 null once caused this to be 'missing' immediately.”

However, what happened was a moment the players of this game will never forget.
