Metal Flowers is one of the weirdest collections you can find Horizon Zero Dawn Remasteredwith the explanation of their existence only coming at the end of the game. There aren't many, and each one has a poem attached to it, so someone seems to put them where they are on purpose.
If you know where to look, you can find them because they are all surrounded by a triangle of pink flowers. In total, you need to find 30, and they are in three sets. While the map you buy from the dealer indicates where you can find them, some are really hidden – so you need to do some research.

Horizon Zero Dawn: All Hunting Grounds
Hunting trials are gauntlet-type events in Horizon Zero Dawn that players can participate in to earn rewards based on their time.
Most of the metal flowers in the first series of Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered can be found while exploring the Nora Lands at the beginning of the game. In total, you need to find 10.
Metal flower spot 1 (A).
You can find this metal flower in the bunker you explored as a child in the prologue. When you control Aloy as an adult, go back to the bunker and walk through it until you reach the first area where you saw a holographic lock (when he was a child). Nearby is a stalagmite covered doorway. Destroy it with your spear, and you will find the flower inside.
Metal flower spot 1 (B).
The second flower can be found near the mountain behind Aloy and Rost's house. To get there, go to the fast travel point near the house. Then find a gate near the house and enter it. Follow the path, and you will see a series of ziplines and ropes that you can go on on your right – along the mountain. Follow these ropes and ziplines, and you'll eventually reach the flower.
Metal flower spot 1 (C).
You can find this flower outside the gate to Embrace (outside). Beside the small dilapidated house.
Metal flower spot 1 (D).
This flower is east of the Devil's Thirst Ruins. You need to leave the ruins a bit, and you will find it on the hill.
Metal flower spot 1 (E).
While you're doing your revenge on Nora's quest, you can find this flower among the ruins of the Devil's Sorrow.
Metal Flower Place 1 (F).
When you find the bunker with the Shield Weaver armor, you will see this flower on the left side of the bunker as you enter it. When you're swimming in the water – but it's easy to miss.
Metal Flower Place 1 (G).
This flower is also found in the Devil's ruins. Fortunately, it's one of the easier ones to find, as it's one of the few that can be found under a marker on the map.
Metal Flower Place 1 (H).
You can get this flower before you go to Meridian, or when you get and complete The Grave Hoard main quest. The north is far on the map, and there are a few dangerous machines around, but the flowers themselves are directly in the way.
Metal Flower Place 1 (I).
South of a small town called Hunter's Gathering, and sitting among some trees, you can find this flower. There are a lot of machines in this area, so just watch out for random attacks.
Metal Flower Place 1 (J).
The last flower in Set 1 can be found on the way to Daytower, which you will find when you reach Meridian. It is on the right hand side as you walk down the road, between some rocks along the mountain.
Scattered across the map where Meridian is located is a second set of metal flowers. Some of them can be hard to find, but just remember that you can use your Focus to find them if you get lost. There are 10 flowers in Set 2.
Metal Flower Mark 2 (A) Location
You can find this flower north of the Sentinel Dawn gate, guarded by a group of grinders.
Metal Flower Place 2 (B).
This flower is located northeast of the Daytower, next to a large metal wreck and guarded by a group of Snapmaws. If you can see the river, it is on a small island in the middle.
Metal Flower Mark 2 (C) Location
If you follow the path north from Lone Light, you will see this flower when the path leaves.
Metal Flower Place 2 (D).
To reach this flower, you need to climb the cliff north of Sunfall. There is a path on the edge of the cliff that you can follow that will take you there, but watch out for the Glinthawks guarding it.
Metal Flower Place 2 (E).
This flower is near the Thunderjaw site West of Freeheap. It's in the middle of the area, so you'll have to sneak past the two giant machines to get it, or fight them before you do.
Metal Flower Place 2 (F).
You can find this flower south of Pitchcliff and near the ruined area where there are two Rockbreakers. It sits on top of an area.
Metal Flower Place 2 (G).
This flower is in the northernmost part of the map. To get there, you can follow the path you took to Pitchcliff, but go further. It's on a small ledge to the right of the path, with a Stormbird around it.
Metal Flower Place 2 (H).
You can find this flower near Sunfall, west of Banuk's statue. It might be hard to find your way there, but if you follow the cliff to it, you'll find it in the canyon.
Metal Flower Place 2 (I).
When you complete The Field of the Fallen, look for this flower on top of the mesa you explored with Erend. It is on the south side, and there is a Glinthawk site nearby.
Metal Flower Mark 2 (J) Location
This flower is located on the edge of the land on the west side of the map. It's also near a large body of water where there are a few Snapmaws, but if you're approaching from the border you can pass them if you want.
The last set of metal flowers can be found around the Meridian, and most of them are in the jungle area of the map. Like the other sets, there are a total of 10 flowers to be found.
Metal Flower Mark 3 (A) Location
South-East of Meridian, this flower is on the road where you can see Sawtooth. It's in the right direction, so just follow the flower map markers.
Metal Flower Place 3 (B).
You can find this flower near the area to save Olin's family in Collateral. It's in the middle of the Glinthawk site here, so you may need to jump past them or fight them to get it.
Metal Flower Mark 3 (C) Location
If you're walking on set, you may have to backtrack a bit to see this flower. When you go to Daytower from the Hunter's Gathering, instead of following the straight path, turn right (when jumping) to go up the mountain. It is located on a small hill above the Sawtooth point of this mountain.
Metal Flower Place 3 (D).
Cauldron XI can be found in the forest, and it's also the one Eclipse takes when you get there. This flower can be found near this Cauldron, near one of its entrances and near the Bellowback Site.
Metal flower spot 3 (E).
You can find this flower on the mesa south of Meridian. Follow the path, and you will also find a Vendor on the way.
Metal Flower Place 3 (F).
This flower is near Tallneck in the forest, south of Meridian. It's next to one of the campfires you see here.
Metal Flower Mark 3 (G) Location
If you follow the path to the map marker that shows the location of this flower, you will find it in the field on the right.
Metal Flower Place 3 (H).
The second Tallneck you see in the game is also where you find this flower. It can be difficult to get to if you're approaching from the Daytower, but if you bypass the Tallneck and go down, you'll be near the flower on the other side of the water.
Metal Flower Place 3 (I).
When you complete the Honor the Fallen quest, you will be asked to help a Banuk take out some Glinthawks. This metal flower can be found on top of the mesa where you need to clear it.
Metal Flower Place 3 (J).
Outside the Lone Light you can see a bridge, and the flower is under it.
With this you will have collected all the metal flowers Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered. There is a special vendor in Meridian that will exchange each set for a unique reward, so make sure you find them in town when you can.
