Rapper Brother Marquis has reportedly died at the age of 58.

TMZ claims the longtime member of Miami hip-hop band 2 Live Crew died on Monday (US time), with a representative for the publication confirming the sudden death.

Brother Marquis, born Mark D. Ross, joined the group at just 19 years old and formed the band’s most famous lineup, including Luke Skywalker, Fresh Kid Ice and Mr. Mixx.

They rose to fame in the late 1980s when they released a series of controversial, sexually explicit songs, including We want some p–sy And I’m so horny.

Brother Marquis’ bandmate Fresh Kid Ice died of liver cirrhosis in 2017.
